GOUV’AIRNANCE aspira a la reducción de la contaminación atmosférica urbana en el Mediterráneo con la puesta en marcha de medidas y de una gobernanza territorial integrada de la calidad del aire en cuatro metrópolis mediterráneas; Tripoli (Líbano), Aqaba (Jordania), Valencia (España) y Marsella (Francia). El proyecto tiene como finalidad una mayor protección de las poblaciones, sobre todo de las más sensibles (niños, personas mayores, personas con problemas respiratorios). Este proceso debe permitir la implicación de grupos estratégicos que permitan representar a la “sociedad civil” y sobre todo a las poblaciones sensibles de cada territorio, los responsables territoriales y las administraciones centrales responsables del seguimiento de la calidad del aire.
GOUV’AIRNANCE aims to reduce urban air pollution in the Mediterranean by the establishment of measures and an integrated territorial governance of air quality in four Mediterranean cities: Tripoli (Lebanon), Aqaba (Jordan), Valencia (Spain) and Marseille (France). The project’s goal is a better protection of populations, especially the most sensitive (children, elderly, people with respiratory problems). This process should enable the involvement of strategic groups that allow represent «civil society» and especially sensitive populations of each territory, territorial decision-makers and government administrations responsible for monitoring air quality.
