Resumen – Summary
Fundada en 2009, SBA es la organización más importante del mundo para la industria de la certificación de construcción sostenible.
Reunimos a los operadores de herramientas para la calificación y certificación de edificios sostenibles, organizaciones que define estándares, centros nacionales de investigación sobre construcción, así como agentes clave en la promoción inmobiliaria, la construcción o la fabricación de productos para la construcción.
Nuestro propósito es avanzar en la certificación de calidad y promover su papel en el desarrollo de edificios sostenibles. Para lograr esto, las acciones desarrolladas por SBA son:
Proporcionar directrices para la transparencia y el control de calidad de los sistemas de certificación
Ofrecer a la Comisión Europea la retroalimentación procedente del mercado, cuando se están desarrollando nuevos reglamentos

SBA is the premiere resource for the sustainable building certification schemes operators industry.
We champion quality certification and its role for the development of sustainable buildings.
Provide guidelines for transparency and quality assurance for certification systems
Offer market feedback to the European Commission when new regulations are being developed
Advise the European Commission and national governments on the role certification can play to advance sustainability in construction and the built environment
Facilitate industry-wide collaboration towards a common understanding of how regulations, information and the certification process may be harmonized
Lead partnerships for research on innovations in tools supporting the construction market for sustainable buildings.
